Your mission
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Global Manager Sales to drive Emsere’s commercial growth across all regions and markets.
The Global Manager Sales plays a pivotal role in driving Emsere’s global growth by leading the Business Development and Account Management teams. Reporting directly to the CCO, and being part of the Global Management Team, this position is responsible for translating the company’s commercial strategy into actionable sales plans, ensuring consistent revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and market expansion.
Job description
Your key responsibilities are:
- Translate Emsere’s global commercial strategy into regional and account-level sales objectives aligned with growth targets.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Business Development and Account Management teams to achieve high performance and continuous improvement.
- Drive implementation of sales plans focused on both new business development and customer relationship management.
- Identify, prioritize, and pursue new market opportunities, customer segments, and strategic partnerships globally.
- Oversee the development of proposals, and complex negotiations to secure profitable business.
- Develop and implement account strategies that strengthen client relationships and increase retention, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Establish and manage clear KPIs, forecasts, and performance dashboards, ensuring accountability and transparency in results.
- Monitor market trends, customer insights, and competitive activity to inform strategic decisions and guide commercial direction.
- Partner closely with Marketing, Project Management, Pricing, Product & Procurement teams to ensure seamless alignment and project execution.
- Be the CRM development lead and report regularly to the CCO on commercial performance, pipeline progress, and improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and sales effectiveness.
Your profile
You have 10+ years experience in global sales or business development roles, and minimum 5+ years in management, ideally within clinical trial services or the life sciences industry.
You are a strategic, forward-thinking, and hands-on sales leader who thrives in a global, fast-paced environment. You inspire others, balance vision with execution, and drive teams toward measurable impact and customer excellence.
